i:SCHEDULING

i:SCHEDULING is a powerful tool which finitely plans and programs  the productive resources that graphically monitors in real time the state of the manufacturing plant and its resources, allows the efficient and immediate management of delivery deadlines, emergency and optimizes stocks. i:SCHEDULING also applies to industrial firms that already have their own or an ERP application and need to go a step further in planning in order to attain sequencing and optimization of critical production resources, in real time. i:SCHEDULINGis based on its own comprehensive and sophisticated heuristic algorithm that  programs machines, operators and tools, performing calculations at very high speed levels  in complex production environments.

It also reveals the situation in real-time production in a Gantt graphical environment, increasing the response in order to prevent and react to potential problems and reduces the planning effort to assist in decision-making by providing a high level of interaction in a user friendly environment.

i:SCHEDULING is a modular solution that can be integrated with the customer's own applications or applications with other software providers such as Oracle, SAP, BPCS,..

Planning, programming and production optimization

Benefits of i:SCHEDULING :

: Deadline competition. The algorithm of the J.I.T. programming that is used for adjusting the programming of dates, detecting an immediate delay in delivery, alerting predictable bottleneck situations; through simulations like "What if" recommend the best alternatives. The possibility of splitting orders, at least, partly meets the forecasted deadline date. Mastering the delivery deadline is crucial to competition.

: Reduction of inventory levels. The algorithm streaming program programs material consumption as late as possible, synchronizing operations, establishing a tense flow between   an operation and the following which allows current inventory reduction by minimizing materials. The list of actual consumption of raw materials provides reminders of early deliveries from suppliers.

: Reduction of W.I.P (materials currently being manufactured). The over-lapping method used by i:SCHEDULING allows it to coordinate the entire programming flow in order to synchronize production, so that stock between the different phases is minimized. By managing the external workings (subcontracting), it synchronizes with the internal workings deliveries and receptions field.

: Elimination of defective stocks. Alerts for defective stocks warn of possible shutdowns due to lack of material well before they occur. The programming of production size is adjusted to deliveries from suppliers.

: Increase in productivity. It achieves increase in production with the same resources due to increased utilization of the plant by the technique used which is saturation of scarce resources, as well as the identification and management bottleneck situations. It also takes into account the non-coincidental occurrences in simultaneous preparations which use the same resources and manages the gaps which are graphically shown in advance.

By identifying idle resources we can implement preventive maintenances, machinery revisions, changes in layout, stock launchings or simply start a job and distribute it among multiple machines, tools or idle operators. The saturation techniques allow to omtimize the limited resources.

The success of industrial enterprises depends on its ability to respond quickly and accurately to the constant changes of today's markets

: Improving trade efficiency. In case of difficulty in supplies it can simulate various situations, prioritizing orders of some customers over others. Through the work partition technique it can fulfill partial deliveries and notify customers of the new delivery date. By knowing the actual availability of the manufacturing plant it will accept orders to fill capacity and meet delivery times for new businesses.

: Reduction of non-productive backlogs. Thanks to the control and synchronization of materials and operations, those works that do not have any resources are identified and delayed avoiding unproductive unemployement.

: Greater integration and coordination between departments i:SCHEDULINGavoids the archipelago effect, by synchronising the purchasing department with production, the production department and planning with business and the maintenance department with production. information is accessible especially with respect to delivery deadlines and is available to all departments of the company which has access to i:SCHEDULING.

: Improvement of information to customer. We can give a clear and immediate answer to the question: When will it be ready? We detect anticipated delays. We know the impact of a glitch in production throughout our plant.

: Improved preventive maintenance. i:SCHEDULING allows you to know how an incident will affect the plant (breakdown, sick leave, etc. ..) as well as placing maintenance orders in unproductive "hollows"  by generating orders as if they were regular jobs with low priority and a maximum date. For FIFO allocation, where the machine has no more jobs and operators are available, work will be assigned to the machine. Fixed maintenance can be carried out by setting timetables.

: Easy to use. A very ergonomic and easy-to-use interface makes it simple for us to take control of every critical resource affecting production and delivery terms.
